dataIMAGING Server allows You to limit the character length of the memo values. Choose the button Options in the menu bar and after that the entry Memo values limitation.

In the window that opens, the number of characters can now be set separately for every memo value. Further processing steps in dataIMAGING Server like reporting and renaming are based on this definition. In addition, the number of digits for all memo values can be defined in one go.

Hence, for example, the entry "5" for memo value 1 means that only the first five digits of the barcode are considered (while using Ricoh G800SE / G700 SE in barcode mode 1).

By clicking the Close-button all settings will be saved and the input dialog closes afterwards.
