To ensure that the already installed instance of atlasFX runs properly, the servlet engine has to be restarted. It is important to check if the installed version is started correctly. Is that the case the update process can be continued.

Now, you can deploy the web application. The existing web application has to be removed, before the new version of the web application may be installed. To do this, please follow the instructions of you servlet engine. In the following, the procedure is described exemplarily for Apache Tomcat 6 with activated 'autoDeploy'.
